Tips 2: “I don’t have time”: the training guide for busy people

  • TRAIN WITH YOUR OWN WEIGHT

When we think about the time we need to train, we tend to add to it the time it takes us to go to the gym and back, we not only think about the training but also the journey. But we do not take into account that we can use our own weight to exercise. There are exercises such as squats, lunges or chin-ups, in which we will not need to move from home to execute them.

With this type of training we can do a significant amount of work in a short period of time. We will not need much time to warm up, or between sets, compared to working in a gym with bars and weights. Also, once we develop some experience using only our body as a training tool, we can do it practically anywhere.

Although we have a lot of time, it is advisable to introduce a couple of sessions with our own weight in the weekly routine. This, in addition to allowing us to dedicate the time we save to other things, is a highly recommended variation of stimuli.
